Coco Key!

This summer I decided to be fun day trip Mom. They are at a great age to go to places for the day or for a few days. For many years it was tough to bring them out because Justin was a runner and sometimes a bit of a handful. But that has all changed so we are trip bound this summer.

On the Monday after Jessica's recital Becky and I decided to take the kids to Coco Key Indoor Water Park. There are a few of them that have popped up in the area recently and it has been on my to-do list. While it was always something I meant to do in the winter months with all this rainy non summer weather we have been having it worked out great. All 6 of us had a GREAT time! you know how sometimes there are places you go with your kids and they have a great time but you are bored out of your skull? Well this is NOT one of those places. We all went down the slides, rode in the lazy river, and got dumped on by buckets of water. All of these pictures are courtesy of Becky's cool digital water camera.

No one you know is in this picture- but it gives you an idea about the climber that Justin could have spent his entire day playing around.

Jessica loved performing underwater for the camera.

a little underwater air guitar...

ahhh some lazy river time..

They had a hot tub area that was very hot. The first time we went in I noticed that Justin got all sad and melancholy when he was in there for awhile- so I yanked him out. Becky took the boys back a little later and I warned her about his bizarre attitude change. This is a picture she took of them soon after arriving there- could they look more depressed?

Here is a picture of me and the four kids under the big bucket dump.

We were there from 10am until 5pm and many of us could have stayed longer. But we were ALL wiped out by the time we got home.
