A few things here and there

Justin big present from us was his own Archery Range. Because he enjoys it so much at Camp Jewell and it seems to give him some focus we thought it might be a good idea. We waited until the day after his party for many reasons to give it to him.


One time this summer Justin noticed some people at the grocery store returning their cans for money. Marc explained how this worked. We had gotten out of the habit of getting our deposit and just recycling our cans instead. Justin was very excited about this idea. So he and Marc made a deal. We would separate our soda cans for him and he could keep the money as long as he walked them to the grocery store to return them. The grocery store is a fairly quick walk through the woods from our house. They had to figure out how to carry them to the grocery store and this was their solution.


Both kids have joined in- they get a little exercise and some spending cash to boot!
